Ilchester Toads win at Merriott
Ilchester Toads started off strong with several attempts at goal by the strikers Matthew and Owen and were being backed up well by both midfielder's, George & George. Our 1st goal was scored by George followed closely by a goal from Merriott and a couple of good saves from our 1st half goalie, Chandler helped out by both defenders Billy and Regan. George then scored his second of the day and Merriott followed quite quickly with another goal ending the 1st half 2 all. The team was changed at half time and we had Owen and George as strikers, Joseph and Harvey as midfielders, Billy and Chandler in defence with Regan in goal. The strikers and fresh legged midfielder's started the 2nd half well and were causing the opposition goalie to make some brilliant saves. Our 3rd goal was an own goal scored by merriott, although it's being claimed by Owen, and the 4th made up a hat trick for George. Merriott scored another 2 brilliant goals and Joseph had a great attempt at goal only just missing, this left us finishing up with a 4 all draw.
Well done boys, all played really well a good result

Very big well done for the Lyde United tournament,(sat 12th of July) especially Anthony, Regan and George our new kiddos.

We are doing our last summer practice on tuesday the 15th of july at westfield school in yeovil, 6-7pm . All children are welcome and do NOT have to be members of the club... Tuesday is prize night (includes cinema tickets, other vouchers , chocolate and Bob's husband for the night can't have Evie's she doesn't have one!!).
